George was born on 25 March 1871 in Nelson, New Zealand. He was the son of William McConchie and Hesther (Steer) McConchie. [1]
He married Eileen Smith on the 17 January 1920 in New Zealand. [2]
George died at the age of 81 about the 10 December 1952 in Nelson, New Zealand. [3][4]
George was buried about the 10 December in the Wakapuaka Cemetery. His grave is in the New Presbyterian Section, Block 8, Plot 046. [5] [6]
