Biography

James Francis Alexander McConchie was born on 4 August 1888.^[1] He is the son of James McConchie and Mary Kendrick.^[2]

He was baptised on 16 August 1888 at St Peter in the City of Liverpool.^[1]

In 1911, James (aged 22) lived with his parents and siblings in Everton, Liverpool. He was working as an assistant bookkeeper and ironmonger. ^[3]

In 1933, James was probably working as a clerk for the Inland Revenue.^[4]
