Biography

Robert was born on 9 April 1881, and christened at St Peter and St Nicholas, Liverpool, Lancashire, on 3 June 1881.^[1] He is the son of James McConchie and Mary Kendrick.^[1]

The Censuses of 1901 and 1911 record that Robert lived with his parents and siblings at or near Aubrey Street, Everton. He was working as a sorting clerk and telegraphist at the Post Office.^[2][3]

On 18 November 1918 Robert married Mabel Agnes Bridges at St Athanasius, Kirkdale, Lancs.^[4][5][6]

It is likely that he died in Liverpool in 1956, aged 75.^[7]
