Biography

Reuben was born in 1890. His birth was not registered until the first quarter of 1891.[1]

In 1911, Reuben (aged 20) lived with his parents and siblings in Everton, Liverpool. He was working as a marine engineer's apprentice. [2]

He married Anne Dromgoole in 1914 in West Derby, Lancashire, England.[3]

Reuben was Killed in Action on the HMS Zylpha southwest of Ireland on 11 Jun 1917. He was the Engine Room Artificer.[5] He was memorialized in the Plymouth Naval Memorial, Plymouth, Plymouth Unitary Authority, Devon, England[6]
