Biography
Barbe LeBlanc was born on 16 Feb 1851 and baptized on 27 Mar 1851 in Cocagne, New Brunswick, the daughter of Gabriel LeBlanc and Susanne Goguen.[1][2] Her godparents were Abraham Goguen and Barbe Desroches.
In the 1861 census Barbary (age 10 years) lived in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.[3]
Barbe married Sylvain Gautreau on 15 Jan 1877 in Saint Mary.[4][5] They were both noted as being from the parish of St. Paul. Witnesses were Daniel LeBlanc and Marguerite Gautreau.
In the 1901 census Barbe, age 50, was a wife in Moncton (City), Westmorland, New Brunswick.[6] Her date of birth was given as 16 Feb 1851.
She died on 14 Sep 1937 in Harcourt.[7] The informant on her death record was her daughter Mad. François Bastarache.
