Biography
Nellie (Jackson) Edmonds is a part of US Black heritage.
Nellie was born about 1838 in Tennessee.
Nellie married Ewing Edmonds in Gillespie County, Texas in 1866. [1]
In 1870 Nellie and Ewing were living with 3 children in Kerr County, Texas.[2]
In 1880 she and her daughter Sarilda were living and working in a hotel in Kerrville.[3] Her husband Ewing and other children were on a farm in Kerr County.
She passed away after 1910, when she was living with daughter Rilda Wilson and her children in Kerrville, Texas.[4]
