Biography
Henry Edmonds is a part of US Black heritage.
Henry Edmonds was a Texan.
Henry was born about 1870 in Texas. He was the son of Ewing Edmonds and his wife Nellie.
In 1880 he was living with his father and three siblings in Kerr County, Texas.[1]
Henry married Martha Murphy in Kerr County, Texas in 1899.[2]
In 1910 Henry and Martha were living in Kerrville with 4 children and his father, Ewing. Henry was working as a cook in a hotel.[3]
In 1920 Henry and Martha had 5 children, a grandson, and two boarders in theri home in Kerrville. Henry was employed as a ranch cook.
Henry was married when he passed away in 1930 in Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas from tuberculosis.[4]
According to his death certificate he was buried in Tivy Mountain Cemetery in Kerrville.
