Biography

Placide Thibodeaux was born in 1832. He is the son of Cyrille Thibodeaux and Marie LeBlanc. ^[1]

He married Celesie Lacombe, the daughter of David lacombe and Meline Richard, on 8 July 1852 at the courthouse in Opelousas, Louisiana. [A search for a church record was made in SWLR, but none was located.] ^[2]

By 1860, in St. Landry, Placide was living with his wife and children. His parents, Cyrille Thibodeaux and Marie Leblanc were next door.^[3]
