It looks like someone else has already been working on some of your issues, I am seeing your two profiles have been merged. The GEDcom process may have changed since you had all those problems. Today, whether you create a profile individually or by GEDcom, the system will automatically look for duplicates and give you the opportunity to update the existing proflle. I am going to give you a couple of links about our current GEDcom process.

My name is Tereasa Timmerman Trexler, I am looking for information on my great-great-great grandfather John Ralston/Rolston Stamper's heritage. I got three different verzion's on what happened to his parent's. I was told that he was born some where in Kentucky, another that him and his parent's were shipwrecked off the coast of Virginia and he was an only survivor and third that him and his family were going west and were killed by indian's. And another family took him in after they were killed. Can you help me? My email is [email address removed] and cell is (704)433-7565.
I have adopted Viktoria Schmid, for she appears to be my ancestor.
Beverly, How did you come to know of her existence? I have found a town named for her birthplace ( through Wikipedia in Bern, Switzerland). Did you think you knew as A FACT, that her birthplace was in Z. . . , Germany? An archivist in Karlsruhe indicated the ff: Viktoria Schmid, b. March 18, 1813, Haisterkirch, Donaukreis, Wuerttemberg, De. But that is for a relative, Rosa b. Schmid, legitimized as Herrmann/Hermann, who married Christian Christof Bar (umlaut a).
AND SO:
Rosalin Rosa Schmid, 18371911.
Birth 2 SEPT 1837 Schapbach, Ortenaukreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Death 1911 Offenburg, Ortenaukreis, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
