Anita Martin was born on December 30, 1909 to William Martin and Margaret Koester in Miller County, MO. I can't find a source to show Miller County, Missouri as Anita's place of birth but her parents were living in Miller County in the 1900 and 1910 censuses.[1][2][3]
According to the 1910 census, Anita lived with her parents and 3 siblings in Miller County, Missouri.[3]
According to the 1920 census, Anita lived with her parents and 4 siblings in Eldon, Missouri.[4]
In 1930-1931, Anita attended Central Missouri Teachers College in Warrensburg, Missouri. The 1931 Rhetor shows that Anita was a sophomore in 1931.[5]
Accordin to the 1930 census, Anita lived with her parents and siblings in Eldon, Missouri.[6]
On January 12, 1934, Anita married Beryl McClain in Jefferson County, Missouri. The license shows that Anita and Beryl lived in St. Louis, Missouri.[7]
According to the 1940 census, Anita lived with Beryl and their son John in St. Louis, Missouri. The 1940 census shows she went to college for 2 years.[8]
Anita died on February 26, 2003[1]in Osage Beach, Missouri at the Ozark Care Center.
Anita is buried in the St. Michael Cemetery in Russellville, Missouri.[10]
