Did anyone notice the note "This is *not* John Marston born 20 Jun 1630 in Ormsby, Norfolk, England. This is John 'The Master Mariner' Marston of unknown origin in England?" As you can see from the edit history where it says "clear duplicate" even with the above note present you have merged two completely different men of the same name: one from Ormsby of Andover and the other of Salem, a mariner. The biography of the man of Andover is on top and the later is one the bottom. Each with a completely different set of children and different occupations.

As to the man of Salem see: "The Marston genealogy : in two parts" p 537+ https://archive.org/details/marstongenealogy00mars/page/536

It was John of Salem who was "The Master Mariner" and his son James also a mariner.

Marston-12 and Marston-672 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouse

It does make sense that a Captain's son would be a master Mariner if not himself achieving captaincy.
