Here is my family tree.
My family tree consists of three groups of immigrants to Louisiana who settled between New Orleans and Baton Rouge: Acadians who settled in Ascension Parish, Germans who settled closer to New Orleans in the German Coast parishes and Canary Islanders who settled along Bayou Lafourche. I know a lot about my ancestors in all three groups, but I am interested in filling in more details and in contributing my knowledge of the connections among these groups to WikiTree
with
anyone who shares the same ancestors.

Biography
Richard was born on July 29, 1950 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He lived in Louisiana until be graduated from LSU in 1972. He moved to Madison, Wisconsin to attend graduate school and lived there until the end of 1977, when he received a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences. He then moved to Atlanta, Georgia to join the faculty of the Georgia Institute of Technolog (Georgia Tech). Having retired from Georgia Tech, he moved to Seattle, Washington in 2008 as a department chair and faculty member at Seattle University.
