Biography

Jean was born around 1756 in Acadie. He is the child of Joseph LeBlanc and Madeleine Girouard. [1]

Jean married Charlotte Bugol, daughter of Charles Bugol and Marguerite Cormier, May 21, 1787 in Carleton, Québec [2][3] The witnesses were Fabien Dugas, David Allain, Basile LeBlanc, Joseph LeBlanc.

The date of birth 21 May 1756 in Grand-Pré is not sourced. The websites PRDH, Généalogie des Landry à travers le monde, and the Karen Theriot Reader family tree give 1756 Acadie as an estimated date and place of birth.
