Charles was born in 1851 in Bouctouche New Brunswick , Canada . He came to Montana in the 1880's . He worked on the bridges for the Northern Pacific Railroad . He settled in Butte Montana in 1888 . He worked as a carpenter , helped with construction on Marcus Daly's famed hotel in Montana . He was the son of Pierre LeBlanc and Apolline Bastarache. He passed away in 1941.
