Biography

André was born about 1839. He is the son of Joseph LeBlanc and Perpétue Cormier.

He married Marcelline LeBlanc in Shediac on 20 Sep 1870.[1][2] Their parents were not named in the marriage record. He was noted as being from the parish of Dorchester and she was from the parish of Shediac(?). Witnesses were Zozime Landry and Mathilde Casey. Their children were:

  1. Marie Virginie "Jane" LeBlanc (born 12 Oct 1871)
  2. Elise LeBlanc (born 23 May 1874)
  3. Joseph Martin "Luther" LeBlanc (born 18 May 1875)
  4. Louise LeBlanc (born 27 Dec 1877)
  5. Jean Bénoni LeBlanc (born 28 Feb 1879)
  6. Thomas Aldéric LeBlanc (born 27 Jul 1880)

In the 1891 census Andrew C, age 52, was in Dorchester, Westmorland, New Brunswick.[3] He was listed with his wife "Martha" and children Jane [Virginie], Luther, Louisa, John, and Isaac.

In the 1901 census Andrew B, age 62, cooper, was the head of household in Dorchester, Westmorland, New Brunswick.[4] He was listed with his wife Marceline and children Virginia, Luther, Louisa, and John. His date of birth was given as February 1839.

In the 1911 census Andrew was the married head of household in Westmorland, New Brunswick.[5][6] He was listed with his wife Martha, daughter Janey [Virginia], and son John B. His date of birth was given as April 1839.
