Biography
I was born and raised in Raleigh. I have lived within 50 miles of my birth place all my life. I now live in Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. I have one brother, Malcolm Warren King, now deceased. I'm A Certified Nurses Aide, a job that I have had for 41 years. I have been married twice. My first husband, was David and he is still alive. My second husband, Richard "Rik" Alan Tarbox, passed in 2007 at the age of 43. I have one daughter (David) and one grandson. I started looking for my family in 2002. My mom, Tula Deloise Johnson, before she passed in 2002, wanted to know if her brother, James Arthur Johnson was still alive. He ended up in Oregon and never made it back home. Unfortunately Uncle James had passed in 1988, if my memory is correct. My dad, Albert Turner King, passed 5 and half months later. in 2003. The main surname's for my maternal side are Johnson, Smith and Holder. The main surnames for my paternal side are King, Wilkes (Wilks), and Champion.
