Biography

Alfred was born in 1870 in Illinois to Charles M Evans and Nancy Ellen Dalton.[1]

Alfred (age 27) married Carrie Ventis (age 20) on 22 December 1897 in Mills, Mills, Iowa.[2][3] To this marriage 5 children were born:

  1. Auta Carrie Evans – 27 November 1898[4] - 1970[5]
  2. Harry Glee Evans – 20 March 1900[6] - 1 July 1954[7]
  3. Jean Glen Evans – 25 July 1903[8] - 25 January 1959[9][10]
  4. Galen Hugh Evans – 19 June 1905 – 28 December 1991[11]
  5. Eula Condis Evans – 5 February 1907[12] - 7 June 1909[13][14]
