Biography

Ronald Grant Evans, the son of David Charles Evans and Florence Emma Little, was born 26 December 1916 in Judson, Blue Earth, Minnesota.^[1] He is listed there in his parents home in the 1920 US Census, ^[2] and again in 1930.^[3]

Ronald enlisted in the US Military, 6 January 1941 and served until 9 August 1945.^[4] After his military service, Ronald marriedMildred Linnea Marie Johnson, 1 June 1946 in Nicollet County, Minnesota.^[5] They settled in Mankato, Nicollet, Minnesota where they owned a coffee shop, listed there in the 1950 Census with 2 sons.^[6]

They remained in Mankato, where they raised 4 children, Bradley (1947}, Brian (1950), Marcia (1953) and Jill (1958). Ronald passed away in Mankato, 12 February 1992.^[7] He is buried there in Woodland Hills Memorial Park^[8]
