John McAuley was born 12/25/1779 In Ulster, Amapgh, Ireland. He married Mary Stumphff. She was born in 1781 in PA. So far I have only found one son: William T. McCauley who was born in 1803 in Allegheny, PA.
John died in Miflin, PA on 8/25/1855
Mary died in Miflin, PA on 10/22/1851
William T. died in Seneca, OH on 7/23/1890, he was married twice.

#2 Catherine Elizabeth Harpster (1/27/1807 in Miflin, PA - 6/4/1876 in Seneca, OH)
They had 8 kids: John A (1827-8/11/1896); James H (1829 - 6/26/1912); Susannah (1831-4/26/1910); Mary (1836-?); David (3/21/1839-3/6/1910); Matilda (6/12/1841-9/6/1916); Eliza (2/3/1844-9/6/1916); Catherine (8/12/1846-?). The first 4 kids were born in PA, the last 4 were born in OH. They all died in KS (except the two that have no death dates).
