Thanks for sharing. The Personnel Records of the First World War are a great resource, I have found many of my relatives in them. They contain not just military information but also family details, birth dates, residence addresses, next of kin etc. The migration to the new site means updating links again but its well worth the effort!!

I love the First World War database, and have used it often.  If anyone I work on is of age, I check to see if they served in the military.

It's interesting to see all the stuff you never heard about - like grandfather getting a GSW to the ankle, but healing and returning to the front.  Or hubby's grandpa being discharged because he had medical problems, when you never even knew he was in the army.
