Hi Wikitreers,

Let’s see if we can connect the genealogy behind the vintage antique post card in my collection.

I have in my vintage antique post card collection a post card addressed to Mrs. C. D. Talcott Jr. of Talcottville, Conn.

We need the Bio of the postcard transcribed. It appears this is from a Ruby or Rob? Unknown sender.

The recipient is Jeanette (Ela) Talcott (1887 - 1968). I wonder if she also attended Wellesley College? What was her occupation in life?

Any insights into this vintage post card and Jeanette genealogy is appreciated

Thank you

I don't think Jeanette attended Wellesley.

In addition to not seeing her in the 1923 directory, here is a report of the wedding in 1906, where she is called  a member of the 1906 Class of South Manchester High School.

That's not enough time to have attended Wellesley and surely they would have mentioned that if she had.

And one of her listed attendants is a Miss Ruby E. Couch of Springfield.  Maybe the sender?

Here's a familysearch.org profile for what may be Ruby:

Lots going on here…

The writer says “you & Dennison” and we see Jeanette’s husbands middle name is Dennison…seems Ruby who I agree is the writer called him Dennison. Great work finding this connection!

I agree she wasn’t a graduate of Wellesley.
