Newt Hayden-6716 introducing myself

Question

I have traced my ancestry from my grandfather, Frank A Hayden of Windsor County, Vermont to a great grandfather, William Hayden (1602-1669, who emigrated from Cadhay Manor, Devon, England in 1630 and landed in Dorchester, Massachusetts after sailing on the John and Mary. I have traced him back to Sir William de Cardon Heydon, (B 1045) who was born in  Normandy, France as the son of Richard  de Reviers Vernon.

The relationship between Sir William and Vernon is unclear and any information regarding them or other ancestors would be appreciated.
