Advice before editing this pre-1700 Cornelisz profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of Leendert (Cornelisz) van Sevenhuijsen. This is what I can add:

  • I want to remove the son of Leendert (Wijnand Leendertsz Halverhout/Bezuidenhout)

These are the sources I am using:

  • There is no source to suggest that Leendert and his wife are the parents of Wijnand Leendertz, only the import of a GEDCOM. This relationship has been in doubt for some time. The parents of Wijnand must be found in The Hague, where he was born.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Yes most definitely contact the project managers and unless you have special permissions you won't be able to change the profile as it is project protected.

Interesting case. These things can indeed happen. Mistakes are made, and then need to be fixed, if better information can be found.

I see a comment and a reference in the profile from Ronel Olivier (aka Van_Heerden-335), but nothing from you, and no discussion in the comments.

ah.. and now I see that you've already done that, but at the profile of Wijnand Bezuidenhout-47 .. I hope that works out. I'll check if I can find the VOC ship record.. who knows.
