Merging Mercy Goodwin m. Robert Fosgate:

Mercy Goodwin, Goodwin-1636, was the daughter of Martha & John Goodwin, born Charlestown, Massachusetts in February 1681.  She m. Robert Foskett/Fosgate in Charlestown and had three children:  Robert, Thomas, & Abigail.

Goodwin-1636 cannot be merged to Goodwin-4342; the message reads "unmerged match, not ready to merge".  At this date, Mercy's dob, marriage to Robert Foskett/Fosgate, and birth of 3 children, all in Charlestown, Ma have been sourced.

Could someone please clarify how to proceed?

Had a look, obvious duplication. The only conflicting info is the husbands surname. He is Fosgate, the children are Foskett and Fosket: and his parents are Foskett

But that should not delay the merge. Remove the unmerged match and reapply the request to merge.
