Hi, while working on the USBH 1880 census project, I came across several people who could be considered Notable for USBH.
-- Amos-4428, Susan Amos Douge, abolitionist, community leader in Albany, New York
-- Douge-21, Michael Douge abolitionist, community leader in Albany, New York
-- Douge-22, Catherine Mary Douge Williams, educator, suffragist in Albany, New York.
-- Stillyard-1, Basil Stillyard, M.D. He became a physician serving Wheeling, West Virginia. He studied at Howard University, and for a time in Albany, New York, where he was living when the 1880 census took place.
I started bios for them, but they need more development.
Also, Matthews-8588, James Campbell Matthews, attorney, judge, first black New York law school graduate. He has a Wikipedia page, and an existing WikiTree profile, which is not yet marked as Notable.
Thank you,
K. Price
