Biography
Duane Parker Wesson was born on November 11, 1855, in Mississippi to Martha Wesson, age 34, and George W Wesson, age 36. In the 1860 census his family was living in Oakland, Mississippi, where his father was a house carpenter.
He married Helen Nora Bynum on December 16, 1880, in Rusk, Texas. They had seven children in 17 years.
He died on April 24, 1920, at the age of 64, and was buried in Henderson, Texas, in the Davis Cemetery.
