Everett (Wasson) Eugene is a part of US Black heritage.

Everett was born in 1895 in Iredell County, North Carolina, son of Jim Long and Louisa Wasson.

Everett married Ola Moton in Iredell County in 1919. They raised a large family in Iredell County.

He passed away in Statesville, Iredell County in 1962 and was buried in the Church of Christ in Belmont Cemetery in Statesville.

Research Notes

Parents names given as Jim Long and Louisa Keaton on Social Security, but as Logan Wasson and Louisa Wasson on marriage record. In 1910 census his parents are Martin L and Louisa Wasson. Martin and Louisa weren't married until 1902, so it can be assumed Martin is Everett's stepfather.
