Joseph Amédée Hippolyte Poirier was born on 25 Mar 1888 and baptized the next day in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick, the son of Sylvain Poirier and Marie Blanche Haché.[1][2]
Amedee, age 20, married Rose Leblanc, age 26, daughter of Joseph D Leblanc and Domithilde Poirier, on 23 Nov 1908 in Lynn, Essex, Massachusetts.[3]
