I know little about my Moore ancestors. Ezekiel Warren Moore
Born 1825 in New Hampshire? Is my 2nd great grand father. My great grand father was in the textile business, Chadborne & Moore in Massachusetts. There seem to be other Moore men also in textiles in the mid Atlantic states. I have wondered if there were a family connection there.
I believe my Moore ancestors came from Northern Ireland and settled in NH for a time. They eventually removed to PA and then migrated south. Perhaps we connect? Are you on gedmatch?
My name is Larry Johnson and I have been working on my family tree for over 30 years BUT, at best, I am a very basic amateur genealogist. I have managed to amass over 8,000 ancestors in my Family Tree Maker database with the oldest suspected ancestor hailing from the Netherlands circa 184 (Based on old Sagas and Legends) and I have one MARTHA ANN MOORE born in TN (based on her answers on 1880 US Census data) who is my 2nd Great Grandmother. I have not been able to locate any additional information about her. I would sincerely appreciate any addition information which you might have.
Currently: Martha Ann Moore, b. in 1831 or 1832, KY, USA. d. After 11 Jan 1900 in Doniphan, Ripley Co., MO (1900 US Census shows her living on 18 June 1900 in Doniphan) She married Samuel Johnson on 16 Jan 1851 in Doniphan, Ripley Co., MO (Missouri Marriage Records) She and Samuel had 6 children (James M., Richard, Henry, Winnie, William and Martha A.)
I have most of my US ancestor families traced back to their European immigrant and would very much like to do the same with the MOORE family.
Thank you for your attention and possible help with my quest.
My name is Fred Bailor. I recently had my Y-DNA sample examined by Family Tree DNA. My surname matches are mostly Moore. Not one Bailor, Beiler, etc. I have a 100% match with some of the Moore's listed. My most distant ancestor in this group was Collins Moore (1698-1743) Massachusetts. Somewhere an NPE occurred. It had to be among the Pennsylvania Quakers of SE Pennsylvania in the late 1700's or early 1800's. I need some help. How do I track this event down? Other surnames were Muir, Harshaw, and Kirkpatrick. Even a clue or a hunch would be appreciated. This is about who I REALLY am!!!!
Thank you for adding and editing pre-1700 profiles. Please remember that pre-1700 profiles require adequate sources and you can find a list of the acceptable sources here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordinating with others is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Based on your ancestry the England Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to review other possibilities. Read the goals and tasks of the projects and join those which are a good fit.

What is your source for: Sir John Gosling, born 1535 in co. Hampshire, England, died 1595 in England, and his wife Ann Weare, born 1540 in Bedingham, Norfolk, England, died May 1639 in Cirencester, co Gloucestershire, England, would be Agnes Gosling parent? I have seen it in various family trees, but unproven/unsourced.
Thanks

Hope it is helpful.
Take a look at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Duplicates I think it may help you understand what to do when there are duplicate profiles. And you can always ask for help!
You must start sourcing your profiles, especially any pre-1700 profiles you create.
Trees from other sites or home-use software are not adequate sources, nor is information passed to you from a cousin.
Thank you,
