Thomas' funeral notice states that he was buried at the Coburg cemetery on 27 December 1941 and also confirm that the address of 69 Elphin-street, Newport was the residence of his son-in-law William Higham^[5].^[6]

Thomas and Elizabeth unofficially adopted two children Sydney and Sylvia. Sydney retained his birth name of Seymour as his middle name and was known as Sydney Seymour McConachy whereas Sylvia was known as Sylvia McConachy and her birth name is unknown to this profile creator.^[7]
