"In memory of Mary P. Falwell, Daughter of Henry & Maria Martin, born 1 FEB A.D. 1821, who was consort of John Falwell
She was an affectionate companion and a tender mother and departed this life 15 SEP 1850 who left a companion & 6 children to lament the loss of her consolation.
Aged 29 yrs. 7 months, & 14 days
Remember friends as you pass by As you are now so wonst was I, As I am now so must you be, Prepare for death & follow me."
WILL OF {father] HENRY MARTIN: ... Fifty dollars each to daughters, Eliza Ellen, Nancy J., Fanny W., Usery C., Martha, Elva, Rebecca, and Ann. Part given to minors be held by Guardian till children are age twenty-one. To children of daughter, Mary P. (Martin) Falwell ... Probated June 6, 1864
