Adelaide (LeBlanc) Boudreau is a descendant of an Acadian
Adelaide Violette LeBlanc was the daughter of Joseph Ernest LeBlanc and Marie Madeleine Surette.[1]
She was born July 13, 1898[1] in Tusket Wedge, Nova Scotia.[2][3], and was baptised July 17, 1898 at St. Michael's[1] in Tusket Wedge.[3]
She grew up in the family home located at 344 Cape Wharf Road[2] in Tusket Wedge.[3]
She married Jean Alphonse Pierre Boudreau, the son of Cyriaque Boudreau and Anne Josephine Pothier, on November 19, 1918 at St. Michael's[4] in Wedgeport, Nova Scotia.[3]
On October 22, 1919 her husband purchased a home at 2351 Hwy 334 in Upper Wedgeport, Nova Scotia (Deed: D. M. - 1; F. O. - 821).[5]
The couple settled into the home where they raised a family of 3 children:[6]:
1. Georges Elmer born in 1919[6]
2. Mildred Madeleine born in 1923[6]
3. James Francis born in 1926 in Upper Wedgeport, Nova Scotia[7]
She died August 28, 1896[1], and her funeral was held August 30, 1986 at St. Michael's.[1]
