POIRIER, Catherine Patricia Patsy -71, Inverness, Thursday, January 23, 2003, in Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital. Born in Inverness, she was a daughter of the late Patrick and Irene (Cormier) LeBlanc. She was a member of Stella Maris Church, Inverness.^[1]

Surviving are her husband, Hubert; daughters, Reneanne (Scott) Campbell, Inverness; Louise (Robert) Miller, Hays River; Sarah (Billy) MacLeod, Southwest Margaree; sons, Cubby (Vange), Bernie (Heather), Terry (Marlene), Francis (Lori), all of Inverness; Darryl (Karen), Hays River; Paddy (Cathy), Inverness; sisters, Virginia (Lem) Roach, Prince Edward Island; Lucy Barkhouse, Inverness; Rita (Clem) Bourque, New Brunswick; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sisters, Emma, Bipsy, Phyllis.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Sunday, both in Inverness Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Stella Maris Church, Inverness, Rev. Hugh MacNeil officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only.

Donations may be made to Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
