You also created many profiles in the 1700's with an "Internet source". Since you found the source on the internet, you should include the link and source citation so others can access it. I wanted to check some of the relationships of these profiles and had no idea what internet source you used.
If you need further help with sources, I would be happy to answer any questions. This help page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources could help you with how to make a citation.
Cindy Bourque Cooper, co-leader, Acadian project
We appreciate your contributions to the family tree. However several duplicates of Acadian profiles have been created. WikiTree is a global family tree, not a group of individual family trees. Please make sure before creating a profile that it doesn't already exist, which is often the case for people born before the 1850s. To verify this, use the name field at the top of a page and then sort by date to regroup the profiles with similar names and birth dates. Sometimes dates can be very different but they can be duplicates anyway if the spouses, parents or children are the same for example. If you need any assistance I will be happy to help. I have suggested merges of these duplicates.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
The United States Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles that you manage or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

PS Thanks for your contributions so far! Please do return to the profiles you create to add more biographical details and sources -- this is the best way to create an interesting, accurate, and well-rounded story of your family. The easiest way to find info and sources is to use the handy RootsSearch link on the right side of any profile. Use your WikiTree login to access over 20 websites. Once you find a correct source, copy and paste the citation info and add it to the profile. Learn more about sources here. You may be interested in checking out the resources of the United States project. This project includes many sub-projects that may be of interest to you or you can find other projects that suit other areas of your research.
I am very pleased to welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.
It is best to start with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
You mentioned that you don’t know much about your family tree yet. I assume you are new to genealogy. No problem! Every genealogist is a beginner at some point. Take your time, keep track of sources and ask questions. Check here for tips.
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.
Happy tree climbing

PS Did you know that Tags become clickable links to others researching those names, or places, that you are interested in. They also control what is included in the family activity emails from WikiTree.
