Biography
Matthew was born in Gloucestershire in about 1832. His parents were Charles Jones and Mary Arundel.
He migrated to Victoria with his family in 1849 He married Ann Clarissa Bedggood in 1855[1]. Ancestry tree refers to them as first cousins but this is uncertain.
He died at Fitzroy in 1884[2].
