Were married December 23 1851 in Greene Tennessee - they were the parents of Joel Thornburg born in March 1873, James Franklin April 1859, William February 1853, Mary Elizabeth April 1855, Dortha Jane March 1857, Eliza Alice November 1860, Sarah Margaret March 1863, Melvina March 1865, & Alexander Wesley April 1867. All were born in Geraldstown, Greene, TN. USA
