Biography
Empire was born in 1830. She was the daughter of Thomas Johnson and Fanny Jones. [1] She married Andrew Curl in 1851. [2] They are recorded with five children in 1860,[3] seven in 1870.[4]In 1880, four children are at home, and Andrew's sister Matilda is recorded as a housekeeper.[5] Widowed in 1900,[6] She passed away in 1910.
