In 1861and 1871 he is still living with his parents and siblings at Callington, Cornwall.
He married in 1883 living with his wife and subsequent children at Liskeard Road, Callington, Cornwall. In 1891 his occupation is a printer, still with his wife and children at Liskeard Road and by 1901 he has become a foreman printer.
