Rosa (Jackson) Braziel is a part of US Black heritage.
Rosa Jackson was born in Mar 1881 in Louisiana.
The 1900 Census[1] shows her at age 19 with her husband and one son, George, in St. Helena Parish, Louisiana. This census states that she is the mother of one child with one still living.
Her son with the name Porter is seen on the 1910 Census with his father, but she is not present. Porter's death record in California gives Jackson as his mother's last name at birth.[2]
