Phoebe Rachel (Jackson) Smith was born on 8 January 1891 in Jackson, Indiana, United States, daughter of John Miller Jackson and Sarah Rebecca (Allman) Jackson.^[1]

In 1900, Pheba (9) was in the household of John Jackson in Brownstown Township (west part excl. Brownstown), Jackson, Indiana. ^[2]

In 1910, Phoeba (19) was in the household of Rebecca Jackson in Owen, Jackson. ^[3]

Phoebe married Harry Smith (born in Jackson) on 3 July 1914 in Jackson.^[4]
