Biography
Marion Jessie Jackson was born 30 Jan 1891 in Westfield, Harris, Texas.[1] His parents are Jesse Shivers Jackson and Georgann Matilda West.
Marion married Miss Katie Thompson (22) on 8 Jan 1911 in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana. The record notes that Marion was 19 and a resident of DeRidder, Louisana.[2][3]
He died 7 Mar 1977 in Galveston, Galveston, Texas. He is buried in the Rosewood Park Cemetery in Houston, Texas.[4][5]
