Biography

Alexander was born 18 September 1803 in Loudon County, Virgnia.[1][2]

He married Jemima Shaw, daughter of Anthony Shaw and Sarah Niles, on 22 February 1857 in Brown County, Ohio.[3][4]

Child of Alexander S. Heaton and Jemima Shaw: Mary Abigail Heaton, b. 14 Aug 1843, Taylor, Iowa, USA, d. 09 Oct 1930, Forest City, Holt, Missouri, USA.

In the 1850 census, Alexander was enumerated as head of household in Huron Township, Des Moines County, Iowa.[5]

In 1880, Alexander was enumerated as head of household in Benton Township, Holt County, Missorui.[6]

Alexander died on 15 March 1893 in Pratt, Pratt County, Kansas.

Alexander was buried in the Coats Cemetery in Coats, Pratt County, Kansas.
