Biography

Dryden was born in 1900.^{[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]} He married Jewel Maurine Barrett in 1924^[6] and they had one son, Donald, born in 1925.^[3][4]

Dryden's divorce with Maurine was finalized on 16 Jun 1952.^[6] and three days later on 19 Jun he married Margaret Ann Barnes, the niece of his sister's husband, in Salt Lake City.^[7]

They had four sons between 1954 and 1968: Bruce George, Wayne Dryden, Gordon Alan, and Brian Lewis. Dryden worked for Phillips Petroleum for over 40 years, retiring in 1965. Dryden and Margaret lived in Woods Cross, Utah, for a couple of years and then moved to Bountiful when their second son was born in 1956. They lived there in the same house until the summer of 1974 at which time the family moved to Hueytown, Alabama, where Margaret had relatives. He passed away there due to a heart attack in 1975.^[8]
