Biography
Opal Sarah (Fryman) Bell was born on 5 January 1900 in Marquand, Madison, Missouri, United States, daughter of Jeremiah M Fryman (1875–1970) and Mary Elizabeth (Hargis) Fryman (1880–1966).[1] [2]
Her siblings were:

In 1910, Sarah (10) was living with her parents and siblings in Twelvemile, Madison, Missouri, United States. Her father, Jerry, was working as a saw filer, and they were living in a rented house. Her mother, Mary Elizabeth, confirmed she had had 8 children, of which all 8 survived and in the home are Jerry 34, Lizzie 30, Stella 11, Ella 10, Flora 8, Lora 8, Everett 6, Hazel 5, Trula 3 and Samuel 6 months. [3]
Sarah (18) married Ernest Jones (18) (born about 1899 in United States) on 12 April 1918 in Iron County, Missouri.[4] Their known daughter was Leota Myrtle (Jones) Lewis (26 December 1918 – 26 June 2016).
In 1920, Sarah was living in Kaolin, Iron, Missouri in the rented home of her parents. In the home are Jerry 45, Mary L 38, Everett 16, Hazel 14, Ester (Likely Trula) 12, Samuel 10, Orla 6, Lena 2. Their daughter Sara Ella, 20, had moved back home with her husband Earnest Jones 21 and daughter Myrtle L 2. [5]
Sarah (27) married Everett William Bell (23) (born on 29 December 1903 in Kaolin Township, Iron) on 31 March 1927 in St. Louis, Missouri.[6] [7] [8] Their known son was Elvie E Bell (24 August 1939 – 23 April 2012).
In 1930, Sarah was living in St Louis, St. Louis (Independent City), Missouri. [9]
In 1940, Sarah (40) was living in St Louis, St Louis City with her children, Francis (10), and Elvie (0). They were going through hard times as they were living in the group home, "Home for the Friendless". Everett is also listed as living there but was on a seperate census sheet.[10]

Sarah was listed on the draft registion for her husband in the draft for World War II. [11]
In 186, Opal was mentioned in the obituary of her sister, Lora C Fryman Barton in Bellview, , Missouri.[12]
Sarah died on 17 February 1998 in Belleview, Iron, aged 98. She was buried in Ottery Cemetery, Iron County, Missouri.[13] [1] [14] [2]
