Barzella was born about 1862. He passed away before 1910.

Research Notes

Barzella's marriage record gives his parents as "Nophin" and Betsey Evans. A search for these individuals yielded the family of Ephraim and Betsy (Blackman) Evans of Johnston Co., NC, who had a daughter named Barzilla (b. ca 1857 - 1858).^[1] Elizabeth's father is believed to have been Barzillia R. Blackman.
