Birth
Susannah was born the 16 Jan 1753 St. James Northam Parish, Goochland Co. VA., the daughter of Joseph Evans and Susannah Lacy [1]
Marriage
On the 15 April 1772 Robert Carter married Susannah Evans in St. James Northam Parish Goochland Co. VA. [2]

Death
She passed away in Oct 1823 in Clark Co., KY.
Research Notes
Her father Joseph Evans died before the 20th of May 1782 in Goochland Co. VA. [3] A bequest to her, in her father's 8 Dec 1781 will (probated 20 May 1782) says:
- I lend to my daughter Susannah Carter one negro fellow named Ben, one feather bed, and furniture during her life and at her death to be equally divided among her children to them and to their heirs forever.
On the 20 July 1795 Hezekiah Puryear sold to Susanna Carter, administratrix of Robert Carter dec'd a tract of land on Tuckahoe Creek containing 11 acres for 20 pounds on the line of Robert Carter dec'd.- Goochland Co. VA DB 16, pp 446-447 [4]
