Biography
William was born in 1883 at Molong, NSW, Australia. He is the son of Charles Evans and Marcia Finch. He was the 3rd child of 9 children - 2 of whom died in infancy.
He married Elsie Evelyn Barrett on 22 Jan 1916 at Subiaco, WA and they had 4 children: William Frederick born 1 May 1917; Lionel Henry born 6 May 1920; Owen Charles born 17 Jun 1922; Peggy Joan born 4 Apr 1928.
