William Dement Caton was born on November 10, 1911, in Washington, District of Columbia, his father, William, was 22 and his mother, Mary, was 22. He married Muriel Frances Quade on October 27, 1947, in District of Columbia. They had one child during their marriage. He died in May 1986 in Hyattsville, Maryland, at the age of 74.[1][2][3]
