Source: Obituary William's obituary read: "Willie W. M. Calvin, 78, of 406 College died at his home about 2 p.m. Saturday (June 24, 1972). Death was due to natural causes, according to County Coroner Don C. Goodwin. Mr. Calvin was born Oct. 29, 1893, in White County, a son of James and Ida Hood Calvin. He married the former Lillian Martin on Dec. 7, 1912, in Harrisburg. She survives. He operated the Cabin Truck Line until he retired in 1945. He was a member of the United Mine Workers. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Ida) Van Duyn and Mrs. James (Hilda) White, both of Danville; two sons, Noah and William, both of Danville; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, a brother and a grandson. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday at Barrick & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Don C. Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home."
