Edward was born on 16 October 1900 in 27 Kenmure Road, Hackney. He was the son of Robert Bull and Agnes Cornell. He was baptised on 9 December 1900 in the Parish Church of St John-at-Hackney.
She married Gladys Ada Foster on 8 June 1929 at the Parish Church in Hardwick. They had two children.
He died aged 86 on 8 June 1987 (his 58th wedding anniversary) in 12 Mills Crescent, Seal and was buried in Greatness Park Cemetery, Sevenoaks on 12 June.
